The instructions below relate only to Ghanaian Applicants from Schools in Ghana who undertook West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE), or foreign qualifications from international schools awarding International Baccalaureate (IB) and the IGCSE, etc. (Ghanaians who schooled abroad are not included and should visit here)
Applicants may purchase the UG E-Voucher by physically visiting specific local Ghanaian banks or dialling a short-code on their mobile phones:

University of Ghana online application E-VOUCHERS can be obtained by Ghanaian applicants for GH¢220.00 at the following banks:
At any of the Banks listed above, applicants will be required to indicate their names, mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses on the bank voucher before they are served. Those without e-mail addresses will however not be disadvantaged. A confirmation of their Pin will be sent to their mobile phone numbers.
After purchasing the e-voucher, applicants should CAREFULLY follow the instructions given. After the application has been submitted online, the e-voucher should be kept in a safe place as it may be required by applicants when assessing their admission status at a later date.

Select Payment Source: 1. Mobile Money

2.
Under University of Ghana Select Payment Item, choose 2. Admission Voucher.
3.
Enter Applicant Name
4.
Select Payment Mode: choose 1. Fidelity Account or 2. Mobile Money
5.
Follow Appropriate Prompts
6.
Authorise Payment

User receives e-voucher via SMS after successful payment.

The details of the E-Voucher are displayed (ie University of Ghana, Serial Number, and PIN)
Note: These helplines are strictly for e-voucher purchase and retrieval issues only.
Login with the Serial Number and PIN given after payment of the E-voucher.
Kindly ensure that you do not share your PIN with anyone as it will give them access to modify your application.

After buying the e-voucher, Diploma/HND to Degree applicants are expected to scan and attach the following documents to their online application forms:
Diploma/HND transcripts
Where applicable, certified copies of ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates/result slips
The pay-in-slips together with applicants’ certificates/result slips should be scanned and attached to the application form before submission online. The certificates/results slips should be scanned into one PDF or WORD document and attached to the application form.
